There was a big delay between my two posts about Highlander... Highlander Part One and now, Part Two!
MK Highlander and Roberta Herring
That wasn't due to lack of inspiration or motivation on my part. However, I frequently have wonderful visions of "stuff" I'd like to do, but unfortunately lack the skill set to execute! Fortunately, I'm married to Mike, who for over 30 years has magically taken my sketchy plans and turned them into something wonderful.
This little video of Highlander is no exception.
As I gathered images for "Highlander Part 2" I kept finding more and more that I wanted to include. AND I found little bits of practice video AND footage that we took of Highlander and Roberta (either 2006 or 2007). It just seemed a good idea to put it all into one package. It does tell the story very well. As it would happen, this much video editing was just a wee bit beyond the "drop it into Premier, render it, export and upload" that I've learned to do. So while I was out giving lessons today, Mike whipped this together for me!
Of course, through the entire story, Mike was not only assistant coach and trainer, videographer, editor and producer, but the man in charge of helping Roberta learn her trail patterns and in walking the course with her while I wrangled Highlander!
Aren't I lucky! Yes, I am!!! Here's our tribute to MK Highlander! The first of our Empyrean kids!
